Storage of rods in ute tray

Hey guys recently purchased a Ute and looking for some sort of inspiration on ideas to store my rods in the tray. Send through what you guys do or any ideas you may have, I have seen the pool noodle setup but seeing what else could work

I’ve seen a lot of people use PVC pipes and just chuck the rod in wrapped in a towel, strapped to the roof. Sort of like how an electrical or plumber would have pics pipes on there van or Ute roof.

 

assuming you wanted ideas for 1 piece rods?

Rod tube and ratchet straps when the canopy isn't on. Or if they're short rods they get strapped the the spare against the head board.
