eaglesilk5 Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Im pretty sure they are these things which are caught on american beaches
Steve0 Posted November 5 Posted November 5 You made me curious. A bit of research found they are Mole Crabs (Emerita). https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/taxa/47183-Emerita If you look at the map tab, you'll see zero recorded sightings in Australia, which may not mean they are not here, just not observed by people involved in the iNaturalist community.

ireallylovefishies22 Posted November 6 Posted November 6 Northern beaches has the most consistent amount of worms. Just throw them on a hook and you'll catch every species on the beach

Beach worms are tricky to catch, much harder than fish……there is dozens of videos online on how to do it, but, don’t be fooled, the pros make it look easy! Almost any/every beach has worms, low tide is the time to go. 1
