faker Posted November 7 Posted November 7 So as everyone know, I catch a lot of bonito when perlagics are around but never catch any sambo or kings( not really any more after losing another recently. This has often lead to questions about my technique because bonito will take a metal wrench with hooks on it if given the chance. Towards feb-April they are out in plague proportions which means even less chance of catching one on jig. Well today I broke dry spell with a sambo hook up in harbour. Which does help build confidence on my lures and technique 9

I do want to try get into shorejigging/fishing with metals, as my pe2 rod that I bought a few months back is supposedly a decent all rounder and can be used for shorejigging.

It depends on time you spend on it 1
