estrange831 Posted November 9 Posted November 9 Hi Experienced legends, Good day, as my kids are very fond of joining daddy to catch some crabs and cook them together like what we did in Lake entrance, VIC. This humble dad dares to raise the rude enquiry about the recommended land based spots in Northewest Sydeny. Tried Windsor, Colo river jetty however no magic happened. Planning to go up to wisemens ferry and berowra water area to take our chances. Any advise would be keen appreciated. Shall there be any spots attached with kids playarea or a beach something....IMG_3504.HEICIMG_3504.HEIC CHEERS,
noelm Posted November 10 Posted November 10 If you want to do a bit of a “road trip” Lake Illawarra has lots of long public jetties, lots of playgrounds and so on. Don’t just toss out your traps and leave them, they will be stolen in no time, set them and then picnic and play so you can keep an eye on them. The crabs in the lake are pretty slow at the moment, there is lots of slime in the lake, but there is still some. 1
