olpol Posted November 14 Posted November 14 Hi All, Myself and a couple of friends are going fishing tomorrow in middle harbour. We are looking for kingfish - particularly around the wrecks, although all of our previous attempts have been failures - ending up with baby snapper and flathead. Are there any good baits we should be using - live yakkas, squid etc..? Any help appreciated
eaglesilk5 Posted November 15 Posted November 15 Live yakka would probably work well now. Caught a nice king on Wednesday with them 1

We usually have multiple rods in - a few at the bottom for little fish to keep us interested and then a few around mid water with 5/0 circle hooks and squid as bait.
