Mixed grill from the Hastings today.Bream Flathead Tailor and Jewfish.image.jpeg.05cca9c1cd75fafadf4f6af4aa24b9e6.jpeg image.jpeg.7453a871bf3bbb90c49a95e6178ad9f5.jpegimage.jpeg.1cb98dc971d54b3c98b6c61e801191c0.jpeg

Found a shoreline where Bream were feeding on Cicadas . Only 1 decent size, but lots of fun on 3 lb line and MMD splash Prawn.

Moved to Port Mac in 2000 and fished the Hastings and Maria rivers for 10 happy years till alas work got in the way. What a great system with such diverse habitat and a range of target species. Good to see someone out there enjoying it still!

Thanks for the report. I am always in awe of the purple hues on the Jewies. Good to see some about. They are great fun on bream gear.

No river reports from the Manning but still some nice Dollies outside. What a weird year.
