Messing around harbour

Since my harbour  shore jigging rod is still in repair shop.

I bought out my emeralds mx for some light shore jigging in back in some back end bay  in mosman area. 

Switch between a slap stick on my abu garcia 4-8kg rod and 20g jig on my emeraldas every 20 cast

First fish 45 cm bonnie on 10 lb 20g jig. Gave a good accounting of itself on the drag when diving back. Manage to wash it up.

Then on slap stick hook onto a rat king but spat hook. Yes I know kings are taunting me at this point

Couple more hours past and got 2 pinkies. Lost crazy shrimp

Cleaned bonnie and went home.

Sounds like a good day on the stones. Bonito give a really good fight (and eat well if bled and iced). Thanks for the report.

well its pretty much biggest one i caught on such light gear. normally i get ones around 20-30 cm this one actually took drag on 10lb especially towards the end
