Went out to the south Sydney FAD on both Saturday and Sunday with son and daughter after catching yakkas at Jibbon. Got to FAD about 6 am both days. Water temp 20.3 degrees. Caught 2 Mahi on Saturday, 85cm and 90cm. Caught 3 on Sunday from 85 to 96cm. Not many about but good size on livies. Would not touch pilchards.

How were the conditions ? Predictin was for strongish winds and meter plus seas ?

I found  the mahi wont touch the pillies either , usually they smash anything .

Seas were 1 to 1.2 m. Blowing NE 12 to 15 knots. The formula 233 carves up the seas so it was a good run out and back.
