savit Posted November 29 Posted November 29 Half of fleabay and JW Chrome Slices would be Halco Twisty knock offs/altenatives. Black Magic Flipper Jig would be BiCF Pryml Jig /<retailer removed> knock off, though more expensive. Berkley Skid Jig would be Abu Garcia Skid Jig knock off, though more expensive.

The crazy shrimp is pretty good I saw various reports and had success myself but what about those hardbodies? I wouldn't suggest them unless they're tried and true 1

My local tackle store gets a bit annoyed when I show some customer what lures I use. So I have to refrain from talking to explicitly about lures i am using and what they are based on. I can personally vouch for the jigs and maria poppers and rerise stick baits as well as the sugapen. Tested them in water like on action and had hits just haven't landed anything except worthy of note. My favourite is hunthouse g control hot pb bonnie on it and noeby lures https://youtu.be/j5cy3f-3iFU?si=ZRngKgE-KioTPoY- Edited December 1 by faker

Prob it's a confidence thing but I didn't really catch anything on those knock-off esturary topwater lures. For those big topwater lures/sinking pencils, I guess it's easier to make it swim right as it basically just need to wobble while you sweep the rod and the target fish are less finiky.

That is like me never catching anything on metalmaru. Despite it being a tried and tested lure. A bream cannot tell difference on walking the dog on semi-transparent surface pencil. You really cannot go wrong

None could match osp bent minnow though. Pencils are relatively similar btw.
Little_Flatty Posted December 1 Posted December 1 Everyone, please refrain from mentioning where you are getting these lures from. You can talk about the brands and lure models and let members work out the rest.

Btw, allblue blux surfer is another knock off of sugapen, much cheaper than jerry blade but it is only available in 95mm size.

They're produced in the same factory in Weihai, China, close to my hometown and prob is the home of most fishing stuff in the world 1
