WTF is this?

Hi Fishraiders, while having lunch one day last week, these 3 fish appeared at my feet. I was at a marina in Darling Harbour/Pyrmont. I've never seen anything like it. The photo is only an iPhone photo, but each fish had 2 long tails and they were electric, incandescent blue. You can see my shadow in the pic

Any idea??

I've seen me in the hacking before as well in conclusion I call me a blue angel fish with very long fins hahaha

Hey Greg these things are quite small and very bright beautiful blue color and body shape resembles an angel fish u have in the aquarium

I have seen heaps of small ones on the Gold coast, that one was a big one and ate a 2" Hawg. I have also seen small ones in Cowan and out the back of mums in the Parra. They seem to like the clear deep waters and swim the edge in 2's or 3's. The one pictured had fins about 2 feet long

Nope thats a Juvenile Pennant Fish

Greg your trevally can be distinguished from the Pennantfish by the filaments on the pelvic fins
