Ever only caught my legal tailors on my crank lures I love them cranks to bits, unfortunately they got cut off trolling when a few sailors decided to pass through behind us . So I'll need to buy more

, My partner I have been having a pretty dry few months and are eager to tag along with someone who can help us catch some fish. We fish land-based and from our tandem kayak, but would also love to hop on a boat if anyone has free space (will share the costs, help clean and have our own tackle) . We generally fish the Botany Bay and Port Hacking areas and don’t mind travelling a bit, and fish the weekends and public holiday almost religiously . I have been aiming for flathead for the past month and have only caught undersized ones. We mainly catch whiting, bream, flathead and luderick, but would be keen to catch other fish! P.S. We are pretty poor/slow paddlers .

Me too, my partner and I just got a kayak so I would love to know as well. I have fished the area before off the rocks and only come up with bream and juvenile snappers.

Nice catches. I always wondered how you cast these from the land, they don't go far (mine goes 5-10 metres in front of me).
