I have bought lowrance fish finder/gps. But in the instruction it says to put were the flat bit is, put but in my boat is a little different were is the best place to place it? should i put it were the old one is or should a move it a bit.

I have 90 hp Johnson v4 1996, the motor has been working good, but i changed the fuel line and took the batteries out to get in their. Then i put wires back i got it wrong and it made a sound (not good sound ) from the battieries area when i tried to start it. I got a mate to help me wire up the two batteries. The motor starts fine but then dies fine 5 secs, I think this is a electrical problem because the fuel line is new and holding pressure, motor dies as the starter motor slows down I think i have done some electrical damage, as it does not stall but go from a high rev down to nothing like it only running on the starter motor. were can i get this fix or is this a simple problem i can fix, need to get working this weekend cant stay at home in this weather.

I have a 96 Johnson v4 90 hp. I took it out on fri and sat, and i had a problem After starting it up on sat am fine, 10 minutes later turn it on to move and it would not start i check the priming value and it was not hard and re prime it, but it would not start. I was thinking i had flood it so i left for 1 hr and then it work fine, but i notice that avo the priming value was losing pressure. On the way back i had my gf re priming the pulp once then the engine res drop and it went dead in 2 sec. And then it would not start even that i re prime the fuel line, so i left for 1 hour and I got it started and got home. I am going to replace the fuel line and conections. Do i have just a problem with a leak fuel line or some thing in the engine or both. Also when it dont start on the way back when the engine died why would it not start for a hr, i tried a few times.
