Does anyone know the best bait for Salmon Trout?

No wonder i wasnt catching anything. was using prawns as bait

Set out at 9 and found a nice spot to have a picnic at Garrison Point with the family. Started fishing at 10 at the little beach there. No fish were biting but a lot were jumping and moving near the top of the water. Went back a had a game of footy at 11 and had a bit of food. Went out with my 9 year of cousin at a little fishing point in the bushes. Fish were biting but couldn't catch any. Went back and had lunch then went back to the little point again. I put a soft plastic on the hook but still no fish. Many bites though. We then went to a little wharf atthe end of the day. Many other people had caught bream and eel here through the day but had been very busy. Fished from 4 to 5 and many bites but still no fish. My cousins rod suddenly got hit but the line snapped straight away. It was a big fish. We went home with no fish but still a great day. GOing to Parramatta River throughout the holiday. What is the best place to fish from?

Good fishes. Just wondering what type of bait you use for carp and fish that are caught in Parra River?

Really need to know how to catch live bait at Garrison Point on the Georges River. I dont have a boat so will be fishing on land.

Going tomorrow to Garrison Point to fish. I was just wonding how can i catch live bait if im only on land? I know it is alot better to fish with but if i cant get any, i have frozen prawns in my freezer Im just hoping to catch anything

Yeah sure. There are many fishers along the river but i fished at Picnic Point on Georges River. I went to many other parks along the river and saw good fishing places. travel along the river and find a nice place to fish.

Georges River is great. Went there today with no fish but many fisherman their and saw many catch fish. Its a great river

Hi Just got back from fishing. Looked at different places along the river and decided to fsh at Picnic Point. Bought prawns from the sevice statin and cast out. Got snagged to so many times that it was funny. Lost 4 of my hooks and got caught on sommeone elses snagged hook and sinker (at least i got to keep them). I then had a good run and had many bite, one being a massive one but none got on my hhok. NO CATCHES I still had a great morning fishing
