  1. Heddon Tiny Torpedo's and Crazy Crawlers are the ducks nuts on top of the water mate. Anything that splashes or fizzes will cop a hit if they are keen.
  2. A piece of bread on a small jig head mate Cast it out and if they are about it wont take long
  3. Nice start to the season mate & top fish for that part of the river We cracked a couple form that stretch toward the end of last season.
  4. Stockton beach style Hilux with a game chair mounted in the tray, surfer to paddle your mullet out, hang on and hope for Mr Pointer to come along
  5. Too right. I would have tried turning the rat into a hood as well You have to love the food chain......
  6. I'd disagree about the yakkas at that size being too big. Throw one out next time, you might be pleasantly suprised.
  7. Top little spot. Make sure your spinning while waiting for your baits to be hit, some nice kings get through there You can just about always plug a leathery at your feet as well if things are slow. The big down side are the jet boats that seem to take joy in buzzing the ledge.
  8. Ball's mate, you could almost walk to it.
  9. Sorry Tan, on re-read I see what you mean. Think of it phonetically. "Shim - Who - mo?". I see where you think I may have been coming from but it certainly wasnt about that. Tight lines, Bob
  10. Lol I have pleanty but anyone more than me is too many. Dont get me wrong, I love some company and will always have a chat to the bloke next to me, but solitude is sublime
  11. Less people at my fishing spots
  12. I just dont understand why you would need anything longer than 7 foot for fishing off a wharf fishing for kings?
  13. The rangers already know. Alerting them will just emphasise the problem
  14. Rubbish......... the amount of rubbish i have picked up (others rubbish) at ledges up and down the coast is a disgrace. Dont hold back if you see these clowns leaving their crap about, have a go at them. You dont need to be confrotational or agro, just mention it. Rubbish in spots like national parks is a major factor in management bodies restricting our activities. They know how to keep the areas clean, they keep us out. And everyone says " oh no I dont litter". Someone is and it is up to us to rectify the problem.
  15. No coincidence that you mention Hill 60 and Sanpper in the same breath. 2 of the filthiest leadges on the NSW east coast frequented by clowns who have no concern for their own safety. I would rather fish a puddle on the side of the road than either of these 2 places, very sad.
  16. Just be careful blasting them, you run the risk of driving the salt and grit further in, not off.
  17. Yes Fly Point, very cool. I was snorkling and then something over a metre long and looking like a baby croc moves on the bottom some 2 feet away from me. Yep a MASSIVE flatty. Didnt that scare the something out of me.
  18. I love that stretch of sand....... and the bump in the background too
  19. Slimies will readily take 18gram style silver pencil lures but this is more an open water option.
  20. Try sending the pike back out with a body piercing next time , ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
  21. Tell that to the first hood you tangle with!! lol
