Hello fellow fishraiders
Im gna be staying at avoca for a week for holidays and I was planning to go fishing with my cousins.
I was wondering if anyone can give me some good locations (landbased) to go and just cast a line.
Ive been reading about the beach and rock fishing in that area...but duno if i hav the right gear...is there any wharfs in that area also? Im still a novice fishermen so i have much to learn hehe
any input would be much appreciated
THANK YOU
thats a nice fish u got there
just the other week on saturday i was fishing with my parents at the end of louisa rd at the wharf and i casted my small bait rod in with some pilchard and left it to get my other rod and then all of a sudden i hear my mum scream "your rod! " as the rod bends and then it fell in the water =.='......all i can do is watch it swim away lolz knowing something is on it.....talked to a guy there later on and he said same thing happened to him but he managed to get the rod bak and a decent size kingy was on it haha.... dont know if i had a kingy, but i'd like to think that it was haha oh well i learn from my mistakes and to be more alert lolz

I actually cooked the fish the next evening, Tasted pretty good. My whole family like it! Not too tough at all. However I did get sick the next day, but I doubt it was because of the fish, probably the crazy changes in temperature lately.
