  1. Hi all,

The wife and I have been looking to add to our collection of boats now for a while and came across Bella Boats at the Rosehill Boat Show today. We have been looking for something that will fit both fishing (for me and the boys) and family outing (when im not fishing!) style for a while now and this thing came the closest we have ever come across. We were looking at the 21ft model and its an excellent boat for its price, with all the bling and extra's under $75K.

Does anyone own one on here or know of them as your feedback would be appreciated.

  2. I just bought a new Projecta Battery Charger, you put in what type of battery you have and its designed to charge it. I have a calcium and a deep cycle so it saved me from buying two different types of charges. PM me if you want more info.

  3. Fishraiders,

Just read this and remember reading and posting in regards to what happen to Jim 77

    This was in todays paper:

I would like to personally thank Jim for taking the time and effort and doing something about this, as most of us try and do the right thing.

The authorities should be targetting the "cowboys" out there, not us guys and girls who clearly love and respect our sport.

    Heres to you Jim.

  4. Hi fellow Raiders,

I have a number of Ravia Fishing Rod Holders on my boat which could do with new inserts, there about three inches in diameter by about five inches in length.

I have looked all over the internet for distributors, retailers, ANYONE that knows anything about them, but have had no luck.

I know i could just go out and buy all new type/style, but these have character!

If anyone could point me in the right direction as to where i could find them or have something made, it would be greatly appreciated.

PS: Just completed my live bait tank and will put a report up once it has been test driven!

  5. We went Tuesday and Wednesday night. Tuesday, very hard getting yakkas where we would normally get lots, only ended up with a couple before the wife feels shes not feeling well (thats why i've named her Captin Snooze, she just goes to sleep!).

Had a couple of livies, went to our spot, within 5 minutes of dropping it hooked what i though was a kingfish, turned out to be a 60cm flattie, made my night worthwile. We would have been in the water for about an hour in total, then called it a night.

Last night went out with my mate Peter and he'd been hit with the funny stick (only he finds himself funny), again had difficulties getting yakkas, went around to our spot, and nothing for the entire time we were there.

I too would love to know what/how all that foam is from where their dredging from @ Port Botany?

  6. I am in the process of finishing mine now. Got alot of ideas from here and the internet and went from there. Most tanks i saw would cost around the $350+ mark from retailers. When its finished, tried and tested i will put up a full report. Its not exactly the best looking one out there but the way its been put together is pretty good, even to the point it should function as a deck wash as well.

    Stay posted.
