Hey all, Im planning to go for a early morning fish on sunday. Plan is to hit pittwater at 6, go for a troll outside and then get back inside before the wind picks up. Might have a fish inside for some flathead/bream. Goodluck to all the raiders that have a fishing trip planned and looking forward to reading all the reports Cheers Young Gun

Hi, ive caught a few decent flathead in pittwater. You can try flicking plastics on the bayview flats, or even baiting off newport wharf for some decent bream or leather jackets. Hope this helps, Cheers Young Gun

Awsome, will keep that in mind john, ive heard great things about snapper fishing. Have you got any idea on what type of sharks they would have been? I was told by my dad that they could have been school sharks? could that be true? They looked 1.2-1.5mish but didnt actually measure them. cheers Young Gun

Thanks guys, Nah no Aerials but put up a good fight all the same. Nothing beats a decent sambo on the end of the line, especially with a light beach outfit. But your feet get cold Thanks Tan, New to fishing forums as im in yr 11 at school, but slowly getting the idea. Cheers Young Gun

Hi all, Went fishing last week at Avalon beach. Down at the beach at 5.30am. Awsome morning, caught 1 salmon, 1 tailor, and 2 sharks. The sunrise was amazing. The tailor measured 39cm, and the salmon 46. The 2 sharks cut throught the trace. Will get pics of sharks/tailor/salmon asap as soon as i work out how to Cheers Young Gun

Hi all, I am thinking of heading out for a fish early Sunday morning. I am based in pittwater, with a 6m haines. I was wondering if anyone has information on the fishing at Long Reef, Newport Reef, or Avalon Reef. I would be aiming for snapper, flathead, kingfish * fingers crossed * and other reef fish.
