Thanks for the replies Raiders, i'm heading off on holidays this week. Taking the family for a camping/fishing bash at Crowdy National park. Hopefully my luck will improve. Sill no luck in the rivers around home! I hope to have some better news on my return. Tight lines everyone.

Hello Raiders, This is my 1st posting after a beautiful day on the water. Fished the southern entrance of the Manning river this morning under pristine conditions. Got the Yak out from under the house and was in the mood for a morning of fishing. Fifteen k's of paddling and a couple of hundred casts i got NADA. I saw plenty of big lizards scurry away on the flats and a lot of lays. Hopefully a sign of a busy summer of flat head fishing. Happy to be alive. GeeOne
