  1. Donna and Stewy

Sad to hear that you have handed over the lines of Fishraider.

I joined in October 2005 and Geoff soon followed.

We have loved being a part of such a successful group.

We would never have met and become such good friends if it wasn’t for Fishraider.

We hope you have an exciting future ahead of you both.

PS: I didn’t include the most important thing.

Thank you to Donna and Stewy for all their hard work making Fishraider what it is now.

I’m not sure why it has turned out like this. It’s odd because I loaded it on here with my iPad. I have the footage on my iPad and can see it no problem, but I can’t see it on this page when viewed on my iPad. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    thanks

You can load it into iTunes and change it to mp4

Or google how to change .mov to .mp4

    there are a other options.

If yakking is the go for the hard ass fishos we may be able to accommodate a few on board late at night up stairs but that would be subject to some rules

    Like cooking us breakfast?

  4. This is very sad news.

I joined Fishraiders 12 years ago, Geoff joined about a year later.
We have met and become good friends with a lot of members enjoying their company at the socials.
We hope our friendships will continue after Fishraider site shuts down.

Thank you to all past and present Admin, Mods, Sponsors and helpers who have donated a lot of their time to make this the best online fishing forum.
Thank you to the members for all the input, photos and knowledge they have shared.

Most of all thank you to the Swordies.
We have become very good friends over the years going out socially as well as fishing holidays. We will continue this way beyond Fishraiders

We hope the future holds new and exciting things for you both.

  5. We went to Phillip Island today. I really wanted to wet a line but instead all I could do was to catch this fish (out of the corner of my eye) as we went flying past.

I said to Geoff 'I'll have to capture a shot of that fish for the Swordies on the way back.

On our return trip we were planning to visit my nephew but his turn off was before the fish. We were sure the fish was only a short distance further along the road so we decided to go that little bit further along so we could get a picture.

As we approached Tooradin we knew we were close, just around the bend... um... the next bend... um... we were sure it was close by.

We were getting a bit to far away from where we had to be so we did a U turn and headed back.

Blow me down we had already passed it and we both missed it. That called for another U turn so we could capture this wonderful beast.

As we approached it, it was obvious why we missed it. A big tree was blocking it. So another U turn was called for and we finally got our shot.

This one is for the Swordies.
I'd like to submit it for fish of the month please. (Red item - the car's stop light.)

  6. Suck it up Sasha :074: great report.

I have come to the conclusion the reason there are not many wives out there fishing is because we always out fish our husbands.

looking forward to meeting Liz and reading her reports.

Very nice job Liz and look forward to your reports.

Women rule in general AND as fishos.

I am still wishing for a couples fishing comp some time. Team 4myson and Team swordies would be starters for sure :)
