gday veck, Not sure if its the same spot i fish but fishing on the seaside at bundeena usually brings good rewards, for me and mates, guys i know went down there few weeks ago and caught some kingy's, salmon usually down there too. you are right though floats a must.............For those of us without ropes the retrieve back up the cliffface is usually won by the fish cheers

Well to cut a long story short, I am starting to get into the fishing at least twice a week, have been to flint and steel (land based) twice, barrenjoey headland on countless, whale beach both ends, and sugarloaf point in middle harbour once just fishing for anything and all for the return of a couple of port jacko's and some keeper tailor. Can anyone help with a good breaming area on the north shore or just some helpful hints on where to catch some fish for the land based angler. thanks in advance

hi lads.......... I have one of those fishhunter inflatables, great for protected areas such as upstream of the roseville bridge. Another funny story happened only the other day, decided (stupid i know) to take it out eh back of palm beach and find deep water out a bit, have a little motor, all was calm and having fun. The southerley started blowing and almost blew us to lion island, ditched the motor and paddled like buggery to the rocks on the northern end and only just grabbed the second last rock, scared s@itless and dragged boat back to shore. LESSON: Stick to sheltered areas Hope this helps geary
