Just wondering if anyone knows anymore about pro fishermen netting in Pittwater? I read a report from Fish Outta Water that said that pros had been hauling nets in Pittwater last week and that the kingfish stocks had been depleted. I fished one of my regular spots last Friday where I've been doing well for the last month on flathead and bream on SPs, but the spot seemed devoid of any fish and I noticed a lot of sea grass on the surface which suggests nets had been through the place. Anybody got any hints on how to store Berkley Gulps? I've been using the 3" Smelts which have been excellent on flathead and keeping them in their original packaging. However when I open the pack despite having a zip-lock, I'm finding a lot of the fluid scent is leaking out. Maybe I've just got a bad pack? be interested to hear how other people store these soft plastics without getting the scent all through their tackle box!
