  1. Hey fishraiders just wondering about fishing in the waverton area. I have seen the Kingies boil up around the bay but seeing as I am boatless(at the moment) I can't reach them . Any spots would be awesome P.S does any one have a small tinny- 2 to 3m with a 15hp motor for a cheap price. Thanks TOM!!!!
  2. Trust me it was about 800-1kg! My first one to! TOM!!!!!!!!
  3. Hey fishraiders, We went down to Port Hacking at 2:30 yesterday arvo to fish with a expert for some Blackies and whatever else we could find. We started off catching a few pillies on the daisy chain after seeing them boil up but they dissapeared quickly so we moved on. At our first spot(My first ever blackfish expedition) We had nothing not even a nibble and we sat there for 30mins. Thats fishing though so we moved on to a new spot. All my brothers were getting smashed on Nuclear Chicken plastics but they did not hook up at this spot. On the other hand after a struggle I hooked my first ever blackfish and was very pleased with myself. Check out the picture! Before that my dads float had two dips but we did not land any fish So once again we moved spots. We were in search of pillies but in the bay that we tried I only landed a small reddy on a plastic so off we went again in search of the pillies and we found them but same as before they dissapeared quickly and we only caught a few But right at dusk we had a few whole pillies out and one of the roads starts being stripped off the reel My dad picks the rod up and strikes it but the hook does'nt sink in and the suspected Jew spits out the bait But we still caught a lovely snapper that we took home aswell as the blackfish! Keep fishing TOM!!!!!
  4. Hey guys I'm travelling up to Avoca beach for the last week of the school holidays. If the weathers not to windy i will definantely fishing off the beach for some bream, flattys, whiting and drummer! I will be trying to use fresh bait but probably will be using my new plastics-Nuculear Chicken and Blood worm both from GULP I never used to be a fan of plastics but now I love them! They work on most of my favourite fishies but most of all I love them because you dont have to rebait them every 10 seconds! If you have any tips for me they'll be great but if got a good idea anyway. Keep fishing TOM!!!

  7. Yeah, Hardys Bay wharf is great but if you really want to get em there you've got to get a boat and sit further out in the sea grass! I was there fishing for mullet the other day( great mullet spot aswell! ) when I saw a huge squid-30-40cm! but my brother droped in a line with the drag up so high and only 4pound line so a squid actually busted him off(along with our expensive $20 Yo Zuri pink jig IDIOT!!!!! Owell Keep fishing TOM!!

  11. Hey Fishos, because of the weather we thought we would not be able to go fishing today. We were wrong, the morning was magnificent so we headed down to a local yabbie spot and pumped a few nippers! While my brother and my dads mate were yabby pumping I went to the wharf(Next to the yabbie bank) and burlyed up a huge loaf of bread and what do you know, Mullet everywhere! Because we were land based we did not get as many as we thought(13) but if we had'nt left the boat keys at the house we would have caught at least 30! Owell................ After the Mullet we were going to head out to go jewey fishing but due to the wind and our motor getting broken we did not go out On the other hand we fished the sand flats at high tide and caught some lovely whiting(sorry no pics) We will go out Jewey fishing on the 16th and I am positive we'll hook one Keep fishing TOM!!!!!!
  12. Yeah we were in the boat! Thanks as if!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All skill haha TOM!!!!
  13. Hey everyone, After yesterdays dissapointment we just had to go back and give it another crack. Our persistance paid off and we caught a lovely dinner- Check out the pictures Although we had a huge run(A kingie) we did not give up and tryed a few different spots as they say variety the spice of life. Keep fishing Tom

  15. Hey everyone, Was over at Pittwater today with my Dad, brothers and my Dads friend(Pittwater Expert ) First off we went to our most trusted bait spot but got 0 -Unusal! After that dissapointment we went to go squiding. Rain and Squid don't mix and we only got two squid. Matt-my dads friend said that there would usually be at least 10 Then we headed over to the wrecks to only get one hit So once again we're off to another spot. Get there and it's Pikes gallor! At the bottom at least 2m deep is 100 pike. Using soft plastics(A variety) we just kept on hooking them! That was probably the most successful fishing of the whole morning. In the middle of the pike action a huge boil up of Kingies(our target) boils up 6m from us. but then dissapears . Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh owell. We stayed there for about 1 and a half hours. Nothing else that's it's but we are going out tommorow again to Jeweys!!! Like I say Everyoneshouldlovefishing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  20. Hi everyone my names Tom I'm 12years old and quite new to Fishraider. I just wanted to say hi to every one and tell everyone a little bit about myself. Even though I am young I have been lucky enough to fish in some really cool fishing spots. One of my favourite types of fishing is Jewey fishing and I have been lucky enough to have fished with one of the best jewey fishing gurus on the whole of the east coast. Here are some pictures!
