  1. no i was there monday night, well done on your first bass it wouldve been exiting
  2. thanks your not wrong when a bass strikes at night and its a big one its a great feeling
  3. Try using worms with a float through the day and try at night casting at snags using surface lures eventually you should get a big one
  4. i was at the top section of the penrith weir
  5. Decided to go down the Nepean river with my kayak I caught a couple small bass up first then got my biggest 44 cm which is my personal best then a couple of 35 cm. I caught them on a Bugga chug surface lure
  6. well i dont like giveing away my spots, but if you go any were at the river and burley up corn about 5 meters from the bank, and cast there you should catch,i use a small soft plastic rod with a 1000 size reel with 4 pound line and 6 pound trace,i use a size 4 hook and a small split shot sinker about 10 cm from the hook
  7. i went down to the nepean river for a carp fish yesterday and caught these small carp in an hour,i was fishing with 4 pound fire line,so they pulled a good fight
  8. yeh bread does work good but i fing that other fish tend to eat it before the carp do so thats why i use corn
  9. yeh the do fight hard,i caught this one on corn,i was casting about 3 meters from the bank
  10. i thought i would go for a carp fish after work for about an hour and caught this 20 pound carp at 1.2 meter long it wasnt too bad i have caught biger but it was good fun to cacth it on a light spin rod with 8 lb line.
  11. your not wrong just to hear that hit makes your night all worth while
  12. i was out in my canoe the other day and caught this 41cm bass on a double jointed jitterbug at about 3 am i also caught about 8 35cm bass it was a good night at nepean river at the victoria bridge
  13. na these ones were easy to catch i went for them after a flood, you catch more at the end of floods
  14. i caught them on corn kernels, on a small hook and no sinker,i fish for carp on land i find it easier than canoe, yeh there are soo many carp in nepean river,iv caught hundreds of them, but there are too many of them in our waters.we need too get rid of them
