I want to use bimini twists at both ends of the mono and braid but don't know the best way to then attach these two loops together and still maintain the biminis strength. Any proven knots?? Using 10kg mono and 20lb braid on a tld 20 and 6kg mono with 10lb braid on a charter special.

Thanks raiders. I plan to use the reel for trolling mostly but also a bit of casting and bait fishing aswell. Im considering either a shimano charter special (lever drag) or Tekota (star drag) in same size. any thoughts???

Im in the market for a new overhead reel and am after some advice on the pros and cons of lever and star drag systems. cheers
