  1. we got some at windsor on the weekend. a friend got some up above yarramundi last week as well. you might have to wait a little whil after all the rain of late. but as they say " a bad day on the water is better than your best day at work". good luck this season chasing the bass.
  2. Thats awesome getting the lizard, I hear of lizards being caught sometimes up here, when you tell others they dont believe you! hmmm nice trick trying to pick her up! great bass to, it will only get better as it gets warmer, did your mate get the lizard in the middle of the river??
  3. gday all, We have been out for the past few weekends heading from windsor up thru to Nth Richmond, we had the theory of "we know its early but get in the practice before they hit", I went out late yesterday arvo launching at windsor, there was a few rain storms whilst out but I toughened up and stayed out (although my fishing partner met me at the ramp then said it was to wet), I started at the bridge for a few hits and follows to the boat but no hook ups, from there I headed up river, past the sand beach on the right, then proceeded to toss my spinner over the weed beds and retrieve back towards the boat, didnt get many hits till about 30 mins before dark, Then I got hit more and more, final tally was 2 to 25cm, 2 to 20cm and 2 to just over 10cm, once it went dark they stopped playing. all in all a pretty good session this early in the season.
  4. My mate pulled out at 3 30 this morn, 5 30 this morning 9sat 21st-election day) at forehore drive ramp, call me, jason 0414 473369
  5. Hi Raiders, I was lucky enough to head out on the green machine with southern sydney guide Scotty Lyons of southern Sydney fishing tours and a couple of other raiders, scotty picked us up promptly at the meeting time, despite the rain it was a great day, hard fishing at times but scotty worked his butt off looking for the fish and helping us. diferent spots and different rigs, We came home with a good feed of trev's, a salmon and a 44cm flatty which i caught on plastics, Hmmmm my 2nd biggest flatty on plastics, whats the world coming to?. A great day in the end, awesome guide in scotty Lyons, will definately be back, thanks Scotty. jason McCarthy.
  6. thanks mick, only prob is i dont actually know these places., if I come out of the ramp I am guessing I head left keeping the bank on my left, from there well its all as kleen as mud. thanks again jason.clubwak

  13. Gday all, First report I have put in as a member, I was lucky enough to go hit Bar Island and Berowra creek this morn (fri) with a mate, using plastics only we got onto some small bream and duskies, biggest bream went 20cm and biggest undersize flatty went 25cm, they kept us busy and intersted near the oyster leases behind bar island. we then moved up the creek to a dissused lease, played around for a while with nothing to show bar a few small hits, then the old mate says "lets pitch in to the lease area (not racks just poles),we did this for a while till I said the dreaded words "not much going on here might have to head home!!! then out of the blue a nice flatty measuring in at 54cm. my biggest ever and first real decent fish on plastics. cant wait till sunday, hitting the water again for more adventure on plastics.
