It's a wiper motor off a Barina. The pulley is off a rover ride on mower and the bar is a house aerial post. gonna look for a electric window motor as it's much smaller. Will see if it's got the grunt. All a lot of fun tho. Scotchy it's gonna take a few more kegs to get it finished :-).

Been playing around with an electric downrigger. Still a bit to go on it but can't wait to try it out when finished.

Not as many as we had afterwards .....well maybe ............

Hi All Am going on a houseboat from Wisemans Ferry on Monday for a week. Have searched the forums about fishing the Hawkesbury, which has been really helpful. I have heard a bit about Dad's corner.......just want to know where about it is. thanks Mick

Went out again last night toward the bottom of the run out tide. Only 2kg this time

Hi all First of all. What an awesome site. Went down to my brothers place at Albion Park Rail on New Years Day and decided to take our boys prawning that night at Windang at 11pm on the turn of the tide. Weather conditions was great but for the full moon so we were a bit skeptical. Was just about to pack up about 1am as not much was happening, then a few prawns appeared, then more and more. Ended up with 4.5kg a few hours later. Going to Wisemans Ferry on Monday on a houseboat for a week so any info on the fishing there would be greatly appreciated.
