  1. As said above, if you're looking for Kings its best to sound them out rather than jigging in the dark. You should see them where the bait stacks up. In terms of bottom bashing, there are definitely plenty of species on offer and its quite a lucky dip. A few weeks ago we pulled kings, morwong, perch, nannygai, leatherjacket, snapper and pigfish. Standard paternoster with a suitable sinker will do the job. Good luck!
  2. Had a drop there about two weeks ago. Plague proportions of jackets holding on top of it so it was hard to get a bait down. Not sure if they have moved on.
  3. Hi Damo, Great write up and thanks again for the unforgettable day! We are still a bit sore after all the days excitement but it was well worth the pain I still cant believe the sheer size and power of that blue! The image of its huge car like frame is still imbedded into my memory bank and is something that myself and Adam will never forget. We will have make the trip a yearly occurence and make sure we organise a professional camera man to get some better pictures and film! Thanks again and we highly recommend your charter to anyone looking for a great days gamefishing with a professional captain and crew! Make sure you call Damo or Mike abord Reef Magic and let them put you onto that fish of a lifetime! We both look forward to seeing all the footage/pictures you can salvage from the go pro! Cheers, Troy
  4. Thanks alot for your responses guys! Will look into it!
  5. Hey Everyone, I recently bought a williamson spreader bar with garfish attached and was wondering what you guys use to troll it? Do you attach it to a handline? Do you fix it to a part of the boat? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks, Breed
  6. Hey Mate! That is actually a Mako not a great white. As most gamefisherman would know, they are awesome fighters and often perform aerial stunts when hooked on a line! Nevertheless, a funny by-catch while fishing for flatties!
