  1. hi im using live yellowtail or poddy mullet fishing off rocks im targeting jewfish, kingfish, large flathead, samon and more.... cheers
  2. hay guys i need help with hooking on my live bait, every time i seem to hook the live bait through the head, the whole fish gets eaten except the head and when i hook it in the body it doesnt get hit at all , also i need to find out a new way of hooking up the live bait because they dont seem to live very long with me... so please give me some tips. cheers flattie_king

  5. hay guys, we caught them on peeled fresh prawns and yes we were under a bridge its the first time we go to this spot it was because it was raining and we didnt want to get too wet

  9. hay guys a couple of weeks ago me and a few mates went out deep sea fishing, we were in the water for appox 4 hours now we didnt catch anything until i pulled up a decent bream i used it for live bait and hooked my self onto a massive cobia it took me 14 min to bring it out, my heart was pounding like a horse, after i finially got it into the boat it weighed in at 14.9 kgs and was measured 1 metre 20 it was a hell of a fight and its the biggest fish ive ever caught YET THANKYOU
  10. hay guys on sunday me and my mate decided to go fishing in brighton le sands nsw we went at about 7:30 am it begn raining the wind started picking up, we werent getting any bites but then as soon as the rain and the wind stopped at about 1;10 pm my mate hooks on to a nice travelly about 45 cm as i was encouraging him to bring it in, then the drag on my rid was going off i thought his tavelly tangled with mine but then i realised IM ON i then started bringing it in, when i brang it in it was measured 50cm and we had pics taken and it was a nice fun day. thanks guys

  13. hey guys i was at kurnell we were there from 7 in the morning in the hot sun and wind and we didnt even get one bite till 12 noon my dad hooked up to a australian salmon but because my dad isnt really an experienced fisherman i took the rod and fought it, it took me a wile i only had 8lb fireline and 10lb vanish with 2 size 6 hooks and a flote, i caught it on praws the size of my nail , it was a hard and nice fight, it turned out to be a fun day thanks
  14. hay guys i was at brighton rocks fishing with pillies today and i hooked up a huge kingfish 85cm + i was fighting it for over 5 minutes with 12 lb mono line and i was sooo nervese then all of a sudern it snapped the line i was in shock and sooooo upset but dont worrie im going fishing again and again to catch that beast of a fish. can any one gimmi any tips on how to catch the biggest kingie of my life??
  15. hay anglers i went down to kyeemah wharlf and i was fishing with yabbies on high tide i went for arount 2 hours i caught these fish within the 1st hour.1st was the travelly (36cm) 2nd bream (29.5cm) 3rd bream (28cm) 4th bream (26cm) 5th bream not in the photo was 27.5cm i ate it when i went home straight away... thanks ali

  18. thanks guys i tried next to tarent point bridge it was ok but they were small i eneded up catching 2 flatties 1- 45cm 2nd- 67cm but i dont have any photos to show you because my camera is wrecked :05:
