Headed out to the third runway to christen my mates new boat. The day started well with a couple of trevally, bream and a decent blue swimmer crab.
After moving around to a couple of favourite spots around the bay, we decided to try our luck on the soft plastics (xmas gift from my folks). On the run in tide we took to a slow drift and within minutes had a some nice flat heads slam the Soft plastics (nothing like the monster - Browney caught in Ray's report - awesome work gents and nice release) . I was wrapped as it was my first flatty on SP's. Never been a big fan of SP's but now I am really hooked.
After the third we realised we had dinner and had a great day out on the water, christen the boat in style.
Off to the fish shop to load up on Soft plastic lures...anyone interested in a box of metal lures (well used!)....
