Was quiet with only 3 boats there when I arrived , first drop foul hooked a jacket so moved to Eastern edge of reef and to the south away from the jackets , sounded a couple good marks sitting over small hump in reef , was hard to get drift right with breeze and current and water depth to put jig on target after about half dozen or so drifts got a good bump on the jig , as boat was over mark that got me excited and just keep working that gps track , 10 or so passes later hooked up was stoked to land it , fishing solo bit interesting trying to net it , the last king I jigged there I lost to a Mako then teased and filmed him on gopro uploaded to YouTube ( magical mako ) so was praying all the way up from 130 mtrs please don't get bloody sharked ! Awsome sport fish , great eating and good to have a plan that worked
