hello raiders i went out on sunday morning just off north head in the harbour we troll for bonito picked up 4 so we decided to anchor up in 36 meters of water to do some bottom bashing but 10 mins later the water around the boat started to boil up so i decided to throw out a halco twister on my little squid rod and manged to hook up a nice tuna at least 2 to 3 kgs when i got it to the boat it had stripes running down its side and at the rear of the fish was blue lines so im not sure what type of tuna it is?we managed to get 3 but lost 3 cause only 8 pound line.

what about soft plastics what did you ever catch on soft plastics also can you catch on soft plastics off the rocks????

hey raiders went out after work with a couple of mates on monday for a squid session we stopped at the first spot and no luck wasnt the best of weather was raining but then the rain stopped and we headed to our next spot and within the first few minutes we caught 2 on the drift so we decided to anchored up and it started to get dark went my rod buckled over so i pulled it in and it was a monster green eye the hood was 30cms so was happy and so were my mates then we got a small one which inked the hole boat plus us as well .so we started to head home n decided one more place to stop n pick up few more squid so we headed home after that its very good to see that the squid are in the hacking makes a good dinner.
