Gday all , Ive got a ? about fish finder/ sounder . Im thinkng of upgrading for my quintrex 420 dory and was after a few opinions on what would be a good unit from peoples experience rather than asking a salesman what he is looking to move on . I fish mainly estuary/ bays like Botany , Lake Illawarra , Central Coast and would take it out a little further on calm days so if you can give me a heads up it would be appreciated Thanks

Is this what you are talking about Predator? They always hit the mark off Hill60 or the breakwall but ive been having success with the Shimano Waxwing lures in black chrome in Botany Bay

Thanks for the repiles fellas , them barracouta and mackerel were there by the bucket full .LM1 plenty of fish but lost of people till the rain/night came then the place was empty .

Gday Raiders Fished the breakwall yesterday at Port Kembla , plenty of salmon , mackerel , few tailor and lots of the fish in the picture but what are they ? I got told by a bloke down there that they were Baracuda is that right ? It was a nice evening until the rain came so called it a night at that stage

Gday Snag King , yes tailor were nice size and plenty .Awesome work with the squid and cuttlefish mate , were you there ? Squizzy they were all around the same size , 46cm . Boy53 best directions i can give ya is port kembla rd , stick to the left and they close the gates around 8ish now . Google port kembla breakwall if ya wanna have a better look mate.

Gday Raiders Had a fish this evening at the northern side of the breakwall at Port Kembla with a mate . It was a good couple of hours spent there , catching 4 x tailor and 1 x mackerel Tried for some squid but had no luck , maybe next time hey . L8r people

the rainbow work good , captain america and the pink are also worth a try .If ya from Penrith there is a great tackle shop at st marys in one of the arcades of the main street , his good to see for what ya want

We have had some fun up there with Powerbait Shred , throw out a line n sit near the fire , the rainbows love the stuff
