i been fishing at avoca for quite some time now. first owning a daiwa and broke and now have moved onto a penn 950ssm. i have seen a quite few people including my friends using land based equipment and is pretty interested in getting one myself. i went to look at shops for penn 50VSW but most shops in sydney dont sell at penn game reel. Are penn game reel no good now? or are there better gaming reels? i want something that would last me life time and catch BIG fish even marlin. the amount of money iam planning to spend is undetermined yet. Can people please give me inputs on what they think is a good combo for landbase. thanks in advance =]

im using inox at the moment. this white tube thing. i just want to take all my parts out scrub it and clean it wash it put bak together and put nice lub on it so to make it nice for next fishing trip in abt a few month time
