    15hp motors

I have a Suzuki ealy 1990's DT8 2 stroke and only get up to 10kmh ? Thinking of getting a mercury 9.9hp 2 stroke or 15hp. I think the 4 Stroke would be too heavy overall.
  2. NIce work there, hreat kinggy.....
  3. You beauty, great work.... would have been so much fund pulling that in
  4. Mate great work there keep it up
  5. Thanks all, TC we just realised it off the back of the boat that’s all. I'm not too familiar with the river, it was a bit up from the mooney mooney bridge. I got one, once under the bridge but it didn't last long at all...
  6. Just make sure they don't go pink on ya. I put them in those resealable bags and then wrap them with old newspaper.
  7. Peter, I just could not believe it was happening. It was just so much fun. I normally go Sydney harbour and get them easily but the Hawkesbury has always been a challenge.
  8. Jewtastic day on the Hawkesbury river, G Unit and Squidboy Finally team up in the Hawkesbury to finally crack jewies one after another. It was Sunday 20/6/10 and with not much sleep from the night before we set off at 10 am. We simply were cruising the river and finally decided to stop and drop Anker. The tide was coming up and we just managed to let out the two baitrunner with 2 fresh strips of squid, when one of them decided to start to scream away after not even minutes. Squidboy stop and set the hook and the fight was on with those strong head shakes we just know that it was a jewie. I finally got 2 cracks at netting the thing which ended up being an 82cm 3.2kg jewie We basically just kept baiting up and burling up hard while I had a go at SP, which paid off with a 58cm jewie and a smile on my face, but once again nothing beats fresh squid. We ended up catching 5 jewies and called it a day after just less than two hours ranging from 58cm to 82cm. It was nice to finally see the Hawkesbury River finally living up to its reputation after all these years of attempting to target jewies in the river. G Unit

  10. You beauty, nice fish there. They are the best when you catch them fresh and smoke them G Unit
  11. Weird very very Weird fish, was wondering would you clean them the same way as a LJ? PS: I like what Anthony said, but we have not heard back from Customcasty???? Hope your all good, keep taking them LJ out of the water they are a pest. G Unit
  12. Great work, Very nice jewies there, it’s been a while since I have caught my last one maybe thinking of getting out there. What area did you fish ? G Unit
  13. Thanks Geoff, I think I need to practice keeping my rod in a straighter line while casting a bit more to keep the loop a bit smaller. I'm looking at this fly fishing moves and I am slowly picking up my faults. It’s going to take some time but I’ll get there.
  14. I have a Sage Z-Axis 590-4, 5 WT 9 foot 4p. I'm am currently using RIO gold WF5F and thinking of going for a sinking line instead of a floater? Would this help? PS: I'm not giving up anytime soon, I won’t to nail one on a fly and cannot wait till November for the trout festival. My other spinning rod is a G Loomis SRJ 6400. Thanks G Unit
  15. PS, I'm trying to get into fly fishing but it's my second attempt, I'm a little better this time. No wipping and losing fly's but not getting much distance? any hints ?
