Hey guys decided to post here as I've done a lot of research and came to no luck with snapper outside Sydney. Wanted to ask any snapper fishing who fish long reef, peak, Jurassic snapper etc can give me some info. There's no need to give me your GPS marks as I know a lot of people have out some hard work into them (unless you want to pm me them lol won't say no)... But wat I wanted to ask is what baits have you found work best for those areas and water depth? Float baiting the way to go or bottom bashing? I'm going nuts trying to find these big reds and with continue failed attempts I was hoping you guys can help me out a little. Thanx in advanced people

Congrats on the massive effort. Was wondering might sound like a stupid question but how's the ramp at Bellambi. Is it ok to launch a 6m quintrex off? Heard there's a lot of current and can be tricky.

I own a few mag seal reels but my favourite so far is the sol 2 2500. Caught kings, Aussie salmon and bonito. We are talking over 30 salmon easy and atleast 5-6 kings up to 75cm and it still works like a dream. All I do is rinse the reels with soap and water and dry off and ready for the next outing.

Hey guys I'm looking to buy a nice snapper reel. I own a hyper custom 3000 and a couple of 4000 hyper customs but I need one more outfit. The rod I have purchased is a sol 2 7' snapper rod and I will be chasing small kings and snapper on it. As I mentioned I have matched up the hyper 3000 to the same rod and love it. My question is would you think the branzino is an overall better reel then the hyper and if anyone has one for sale let me know pm me. Thank you guys looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

Have come across them a few weeks ago. Try get under them the kings are lurking around. I Hooked a 64cm model going for them and I'm sure there's bigger ones down there also. Goodluck fellas wish I was out there

Hey guys ok got a questions for all the gun fishermen on this forum. I want to target reds once the kings have dispersed from Sydney harbour. I heard target reefs and keep the 40m mark in mind. But what I want to know is when does the season start for the big reds. I've never caught a legal red and want to target them these season. Lure or bait. Any help would be greatly appreciated and thankyou for reading

Na sorry guys that's the only pic I got. I think its similar to a gulp jerk but I'm not sure. Just seen it around lately doing damage and wanted to grab a pack and try it out. I guess I'll keep the hunt going. But if anyone has any idea I'd love to hear there thoughts. Thanx again guys

Nice report buddy. Was out there also yesterday getting into those kings around south head. Good fun but yet to land a legal size this season. Wanted to ask what colour Xrap did u troll. Was using slimy Mack colour in the 20ft and 30ft for an hour trolling not even a touch.

I'd love to hook into some dollies. Finally set the boat up to go outside with a nice sounder so any help on how to get to the fads or anything will be appreciated. Great video it got me pumped I'm hoping to catch my first dolphin fish this season so again please help you can pm me if it's easier. Thanx again and keep up the great posts
