Just got back from Barra fishing in PNG for a week, location Bensbach River. If you havent tried it yet it well worth the effort. I was astounded at the performance of the hollow belly lures. These lures out performed all other lures, many plastics were tried along with various hard body lures. The incredible thing about these lures is the stunning swimming action, and while there is a bit of paddle tail working they work just as well. The addition of a stinger I think would improve the hook up rate. Any suggestions for adding a stinger? Reel man

(Carbon fibre rod and low profile reel)my choice of leader is usually of the Wind on type of leader that I have made up by a contact in Darwin, (I am in Victoria).Is there a suitable knot I could use to make a braid to heavy leader connection that would do the job?

There you go, the heat gun is the way to go. Heat and twist works a treat, scrape the old araldite away while it is still warm. The same approach for ferrels and runners and tips.
