G'day Exhail, i've got a 2001 Pro Line 23 sport centre console with 18ft Rupp riggers.It's got a canvas cover so we mounted them through the top plate on the supports for the t-top.They haven't moved in 3 years.We mounted them with extra large washers to spread the load a bit.Hope this helps. G'day guys, Only just found this photo. While getting frigate mackeral for bait at Jibbon in March last year One of them spat this on the deck.I'm guessing it's a juvenile billfish,does anyone know what sort or rough age? Cheers,Brad

G'day guys,I recently bought a 6 arm holographic strip teaser after running a Pakula witchdoctor for years.The fist trip it had a 10foot plus tiger following it!(Not what we were after).The third trip I pulled it in with teeth marks on the strips from what I'm guessing was a tuna of some sort and the fourth or fifth trip I hung it off the rigger while cubing at Browns and we landed a 70+kg yellowfin.It seems to be doing the job.Can't wait for summer.

G'day guys,I went out last thursday and pulled lures from The Hacking up to the Botany wide fad and saw nothing.The water is a good colour and we got a top temp of 22.8c,but there was alot of plankton and algae in it.

G'day guys, I went out to the Southern Canyons on monday arvo,grabbed some live yakkas and ran out.The water at the canyons was 21.3c trolled for a bit then cubed with one small alby spotted in the trail on sunset.Maybe next trip.

G'day guys,I bought a HDS 7 with the standard 200/50 transducer last year and was only getting about 200 fathoms out of it.I rang the guys at Navico who were great and super helpfull.The sounders are all set up with a generic input for the transducer.If you go to the menu on the sonar set up and press it twice there will be a function that says transducer,click on this and it will have all the different transducer models.On the back of the plug where the transducer plugs into the sounder there is a tag with a code.I matched mine up and was getting 400 fathoms.Other than this the sounder has been great.Also had a mate look at it and if you adjust the sensitivity it makes a big difference picking up bait schools and fish.A 1kw transducer is $1340,too much cash for me at the moment.Good luck.
