      Hooked a good jew on 4lb (braid and leader) while breaming. Never had a chance at stopping it around the pylons. Would've been a good way to christen the new caldia 2000 and black lable 3-5lb! Christened it with a good 35cm whiting and a heap of bream to 38cm

    Well that was a dis appointing night... managed 12 yakkas in no time at west head as well as a few legal trevally and tailor. Then off chasing hairtail at WB. Not a touch all night! 5 hours with not even a bream or tailor biting! Definitely the slowest its been in a while!

      Very possible to be a big tailor. I was fishing the roseville bridge (late arvo) and it was basically a big hit then a small run (4-5s) then nothing. Brought him back in and it was in half. Wasn't completely a "clean cut" but still, it had to be part of the fang gang... Is it possible to get a hairtail in summer in middle harbour in water around 7-9m deep?
