  1. You don't have to participate in threads you don't give a toss about you know.

Hey livo, I don't think anybody's having a go, all I'm saying (and I think namesay and The Iceman) is I don't really think there is a right or wrong way just whatever you are comfortable with.

    Cheers

  2. Nice work again Kelvin!!! I think I'm just going to make up a template for your fishing reports.

"Nice fish Kelvin, Nice report Kelvin, Thanks for the tips Kelvin" :1prop:

Seriously thanks for your reports and the in depth way you approach them.

Cheers and waiting for the next chapter.

  4. Are you landbased? Well done!

Yeah, fishing Blackwattle park point in Glebe. Walking distance from home and occasionally great fishing. Ta for nice replies Raiders. You make light gear land based fishos feel like they are hookin marlins!!!

  5. Well done, Excellent mix! Those silver fox's & Garry glitters do the job, eh?? Have you seen how the pros slice them quite thin (the bubbly bit on the bottom comes off & also the top fin) & chop off their nose to target some of the other species, eg bass??

Must try it next time at Glenbawn!

    Cheers

    Roberta

    Hi Roberta

I chop the nose off to fit Nitro jigheads and trim the top fin as Tony showed me at Fishfinder, works a treat.

    Cheers

  6. some excellent feedback evil (even if it is negative)

i was considering the rovex as a temporary cheapy jigger for a while but i ended up getting a saltist 30T anyway, hasnt let me down yet and i love it

spheros reels are top notch pieces of gear, did you get the uprgaded drag?

sammy0884 has a 14000 fully pimped one and he can pull his car backwards with it

i ended up liking the o'head style narrow spool jigger and the saltist was right up my ally (and budget)

    cheers for the info

    CFD

Got the upgraded drag but not the Stella handle (yet) will probably get a 12000 size spare spool and then the handle.
