Mate went out sat afternoon for a cube from Port Hacking and caught about 15 Albercore but no fin

No temp break no birds just stopped and cubed

Went out for a cube yesterday at 1:00pm from Port Hacking. Livies are everywhere at middle grounds. Ran out to the 1000 fathem line and started cubing by 3:00pm. First hook up was at 4:00pm then lost 2 more fish Finally caught our first fin weighing 55KG's while we were still fighting the one we first hooked up on. we then caught a albercore in between. Finally got the fin to the boat after 4 hours on 24kg got 2 fixed gaffs into it and it went nuts. Lost the fish on the gaffs I would say about a 70kg fish. Photos are on mates camera so I will put up soon but its a good start to the season.

WE FISHED THE TOURNAMENT. I WOULD SAY THE BEST RUN TOURNAMENT OF THE YEAR WITH THE BEST PRIZES CAN'T WAIT UNTIL NEXT YEAR

Headed out with the boys on The Outlaw tagged 1 stripe marlin around 80kg in 75 fathoms.off Port Hacking

Doubt it was a black !!!!!!

I believe broadbill caught one estimated at 90kg and other boats got on to them all around 40kg

were you at your normal spot or out wider Reef Magic ?

We are in a 26 Black watch and I have been caught in a cronic westerly (not forcast)with Billfisher and never would like to go through it again. I honestly believe its only a matter of time before a small trailer boat comes unstuck out wide.

Well done guys you have been cleaning up the last few weeks. Another boat from phgfc caught fin up to 70kg as well.

We went 7 miles south east of Browns started cubing at 3:00 pm on Friday caught 2 @ 10kg fin and 1 @ 25kg left at 8:00pm 3 hours to get home with the wind Hayden.
