  1. Hi Sat does not looks to good.. It all depends How big is your boat. And your experience to handle the boat. If you look at the weather 1 m wave with 5 sec wave period that is choppy. May not be a very good day to go wide. As for the forecast rain it does not looks too bad after 8 am but at 5 am it is bad. Good luck let us know how u go. Look at http://www.windguru.cz/int/index.php?sc=208682 may give u bit of more details. like timeing of the rain and wave. BigKing
  2. I fished with Maggie Joe Sport Fishing 1025 Ala Moana Blvd Slip K Honolulu HI 96813 Ph No (808) 591-8888 We where fishing around 18nm out from Honolulu It was near the FAD And in San Diego fished with First String. In Mexico water near Tuna Pitts. In US They say no to bananas’ And in First String they were selling bananas’ I asked the captain he said we do not believe in this and First String it the Top boat for BFT and YFT. Has the highest no of fish count. Thanks BigKing
  3. Yes it was 204 fish for the boat. It was one and half day trip. They leave San Diego in the night 9 pm Get the live bait (pillys) and to the spot in Mexico over night. You start fishing around 5 – 5:30 and fish up to sunset. Then sleep on the boat. Next day morning you fish 5 am to 1 pm then head back to San Diego. Around 7 pm you are on the land. Around 6 hr. driving time. There were 32 Anglers fishing from the boat. I got 7 and some got 1 or 2 some got up to 13 -14 and you take your fish. 7 fish was lot. I Was staying with family. So took it home and gave lot of it to the friends and rest in the freezer. If any one want the details about the charter can Pm me. Some more Pic.. Thanks BigKing

  8. Texas reef is around 24km around 12nm out from Terrigal it may be bit closer from the Entrance. but the boat ramp at Entrance.is not good. the best closest ramp is Terrigal. And you can get lives near the ramp near Red Boy near the wall. Drive to Terrigal from Sydney is around 1:30hr Thanks BigKing
  9. Hi bung-o-meter is only an idea for someone who wants to implement it. My thumb rule is I never undo the strap without double checking the bungs. And before retrieval dirve off Check the Motor is up. Thanks BigKing
  10. BUNG-O-Meter It is very simple thing to install in your boat. Install one Bilge Pump Float Switch and one buzzer in your boat. As soon as if there is water the Float Switch will switch on your Bilge Pump and trigger the buzzer warning you there is water in your boat and you can take corrective action. Though it is simple still If you need any more details how to connect it all let me know. Have fun BigKing

  17. look at this site for maps. you will find it. http://www.maritime.nsw.gov.au/publications/maps.html Thanks
  18. Yes 100 lb leader and very long say 6m - 10m depending on from where u r fishing. Good luck
  19. G Day Comb. Use 1.5m 60 lb or 80 lb fluorocarbon leader with 6/0 circle hook. And put the hook in to Yakkas nose without damaging the eye. Just Add Medium sliding sinker before leader. And troll very very slow. 1Kt. 1.5 Kt Max (With the tide) Try also Stop and troll / Stop and troll / Stop and troll near marker’s. The drag should be set to not more then 1 kg. It is best if you can keep the bait around ½ of total depth.. The key is The king will first take the bait. And Run zzzzzzzzz pause zzzzzzzzzz the first run will be around 3 Sec. So you must let it run for 3 – 4 sec. and then Hit the rod then keep the pressure on the fish. At the pause king turns the bait head first. And takes it in. it is very quick. Max 4 Sec. you should not wait for more then that. If you hit before that. (or the drag it tight) The hook will come out from the bait. And you will miss the fish and bait. If you are Late the fish will go in to rocks and you are busted. Send me PM if you need any more help. Best of luck. Bigking
