hi guys first time at posting and using this site i will need some advice with my project i have a 14 foot stessco open boat. that i plan to build a casting deck at the bow of the boat starting from the edge of the bench seat to the anchor tray. i need some ideas/ advice on how to build it. i am thinking of using angle and riviting it to the back of the bench seat and around the two sides and the anchor next i thought i would use 3/4 thick marine ply and carpet it but i am not sure how to fix the ply to the angle.also i would like it to have a hatch for storage plz i need some diffrent ideas because my idea is not that grate but i would not be using it for casting often just storage because 9/10 times i am trolling for tailor and dont need to use the deck for casting thanks
