Yeah have caught a bream off the wharf and a good sized flathead but squid from the wharf or beach is the way to go. Bream drummer and blackfish off the rocks, bundeena is a great to place to go for a fish. You can also get decent jewfish off the beach. My mate got a good sized jewie off the beach at Bonnyrigg night fishing.

I thought the same thing but got back and they were nicely cooked, they went orange and smelt great. Not that we were going to eat them lol.

Hey fishraiders, This is my first post so I hope everything works and you can see the pic. I have been following fishraider for a while now and I thought it was about time that I contributed an article. Went for a fish on Friday, took the day off and convinced a couple of mates to do the same. Thought better get a fish in before the bad weather hits and sticks around. Went out to the Royal National Park, long drive followed by a fairly long bushwalk but it was a beautiful day and enjoyed the walk to the ocean. Bought some prawns for bait but we left them in the car Doh!!! No one was willing to go back as it was a 30min walk so we decided to go for a Blackdrummer and blackfish using weed and cunjevoi. Could only stay for about 2.5 hours but had a great time and bagged some big blackfish and a black drummer. Also got busted off twice, all in all a great day out.
