Go The 400X Mate. I bought mine off e-bay for $480 inc freight. The unit bangs out 500w at the transducer and with Raymarines digital technology the resolution is great. I've interfaced mine to my GPS which now gives position, SOG, COG data etc. Apart from a fairly small screen size 5 1/2inch it has all the functions of the high end units. Check out e-bay if your chasing one good luck!

Howd'y Guys I fitted a T-Top to my 385 and it works really well. No obstruction in casting or wind resistance when travelling. The only problem is the height really, after install my boat doesn't go in the car port anymore ...Doh... It takes abit more to tarp the boat up instead, although, the benefits when on the water are worth it Another Pic

G'day Grant, Yeah there were a couple of reasons I opted for the 385. Some being I already had a late model Yammi 25 two smoke plus trailer to suit that size boat. And I pretty much enjoy fishing on my own at my own speed, or one other, so I didn't need that much extra space. Luke

Thanks Ken, All the super structure is in, although I've still got lots of finishing touchs. I've plumbed a bait and kill tank plus beilge pump all under the floor which I've gotta finish off. Plus install a console locker...and so on.. I was thinking of making a fold down casting platform in front of the console seating..If anyone's got any suggestions or recommendations they would be appreciated!
