Mate there is absolutely no problem with having a underwater camera, I personally would love 2 have one myself

Ive actually had quite a bit of luck with alot of moon at the hawkesbury, doesnt seem to deter the jews away.... Wind seems like its slowed down abit but now the rains here. Rains also good for jews to an extent if the rqin stops and the wind eases off then it should be a good night tonight will keep use updated

Hey Raiders, Just looking at the tides for the next couple of days (Hawkesbury River) all I have to say is Im gona be fishing Sat,Sun night 100% High Tide Sat - 7.36pm - 1.8m Low Tide Sat - 1.38am - 0.3m High Tide Sun - 8.13pm - 1.9m Low Tide Sun - 2.32am - 0.2 High Tide Mon - 9.00pm - 2.0m Low Tide Mon - 3.28am - 0.2m Now for those who are keen for a jew or 2 i suggest you fish these nights @ the hawkesbury and i can almost gurantee you if you have the right rigs and bait you will get them, I can not wait for these tides to come in because ive been very lucky getting 10kg+ jews everytime these king tides come in.

Went for a fish the other night after all the rain hoping to get a jew or 2, Had fresh caught squid and a couple of bonito...... Caught a nice size tailor around the 63cm mark so I thought to myself im gona strip it up and use it as bait, first slab went on and within a minute my thunnus starts to bite then zzzzzzzzzzzz waited for the run to slow down and set the hooks, fish pulled hard but no headshakes so I knew it wasnt a jew..fish comes up to the surface and starts splashing away, was a 6-7kg Hammerhead wich put up a good fight. We hooked onto quite a few sharks hammerheads/greynurse/1 baby mako and when there around you know your going to be in for a long night with no jews.... The tide now was on turning on to the runout tought ill try a slab of bonito on one rod and squid on the others.. Squid rods start to bite and both go off at the same time..bang double hook up on school jews around the 2-3kg mark. Having fun catching the schoolies on squid they cant resist it but I was after a big puppy hence using the bonito/tailor baits, meanwhile the sharks seemed to piss off thank God and the water starts running out, rod with the bonito slab starts getting tugged at I know what kind of bites these are.... ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ rod starts screaming, I never ever strike a running fish so I just grab the rod and wait until it stops, once it slowed down tightned my drag abit and set the hooks....zzzzzzzzzzzz goes for a decent run again and guess what HEADSHAKES!!!!! feels every bit of a jew and a decent size aswell, after a short fight get it boat side and in the dark gloomy water theres a Fat silver gleam, mate gets the gaff ready to strike......misses, fish goes nuts and dives straight down for another run, I give it time and then bring it back to the surface this time I tell my mate get the net and have it ready in the water he does so and I guide it straight into the net! Yes.......once boated weighed it and was a healthy 11Kg fish!!!! Love fishing the hawkesbury plenty of jews there atm, go on get out there! (Got photos of the jew but dont know how 2 upload them, I can sms them to someone if they wish to pm me the mob number and they can upload them if they like)

Big jews in spencer mate......... Remember big fresh baits = big fish, caught a 16kg jew in the hawkesbury 2nights ago Jews are everywhere in the hawksbury lately
