I am looking at buying a handheld GPS. The 2 Im looking at are the Lawrance iFINDER or the Garmin eTREX. Is anybody familiar with these or recomend anything else around the $200 mark.

I cant offer much advice mechanically, but I can recomend you test in the water. I looked at a motor earlier this year, it looked imaculate, ran perfectly on muffs. I put it in the water, idled out of the channel lovely then I gave it some stick, after 2 mins over temp alarm started. Outcome was a new head and thermostat total just under $1000. I was lucky enough to find this out before purchase.

So if you can check any motor under load.

[Harbour Help Needed]

Good morning all.

I am after a favour. Now that I have my new boat I am going to attempt to go home with a feed from Sydney harbour. I have never had any luck in the harbour before, but I have never really got serious. We are aiming to hit the water at around 5.30-6.00am tomorrow (thursday). Any pointers will be greatly appreciated ie what to target, where and how.

The last couple of times we have motored around to the fish markets to save the embarrasment of going home to the empty handed.
