gday i have not fished in the lagoon but i have released 5 jewies at 700mm long and a couple of flatties 600mm long so if they are still in there you mite be lucky -
sure did wb not a real big bay when it comes to fighting a torpedo on steroids but what a 20min fight lucky the only other boat there was my mate just cooked up some kingy for dinner it was lovely

i fish with 8 metres of venetion blind cord with a 30 cm wire trace then 3x no2 gang hooks with unweighted pillies or yellowtail slabs

hi all just got back from a hairtail session at wb managed to get 2 in the boat that were 1300 mm long but got busted up by 6 others that were a lot bigger than that .80lb trace, busted gangs, snapped venetion blind cord my way of fishing for hairtail and the bycatch was the best of all a 90cm kingy that took a 250mm long livie under a balloon . one other boat got one but didnt see how big it was

thanks basscatcher i think the gps side of it will be real handy i fish for bass in a lagoon at colo and it will be great to set a run 5m from the edge and let it go by itself while i fish and the anchor mode sounds like the ducks guts tony

there are some good bass around at the moment but you gotta get through the small ones first where have you been fishin and with what lures

go to klevasharp.com.au they are knive sharpeners that work very well then just touch up with a steel or stone when they get a bit dull

hi there i made my clears using the clear plastic you can buy from bunnings there are two thicknesses go the thicker one just cut to the shape you need and put your presstuds on and presto job done

hi banana try putting the part of the reel with the stuck bearing in the oven and warm it up a bit not hot enough to melt anything when hot enough put a icecube on the bearing and hopefully this will shrink the steel andmake it easier to get it out

hi bustoff when the hairtail are on there on and when ther not ther not but saying that a couple of years ago we got 110 on the boat in 6 hrs and the other boat got 100 all but a few went back my personal best fish is 8 foot 2 inches i only fish waratah bay fish with ganged pillies or livies

hi guys not much to talk about had to do a trip to brissie on fri nite on the way back stopped in at harrington about midnight sat and went for up the north wall and spoke to a local chap that fished there on fri nite and he caught 4 x 80 cm jew on the bottom of the run out tide but had none on sat nite but tide had not slowed enough well (thats my report for harrington wall)

hi everyone been a member for a while but havent fished much lately going on holidays for a week at easter to harrington does anyone know where to fish up there will be taken my two boats 6m cruisecraft for outside and 375 allycraft tinnie for inside flickin s/ps any info would be great
