been fishing the basin with a boat for about 3 years now. mainly on sp and do quite well. some days we have cought and realesed more than 50 fish between the two of us. The bait works quite well they all come back with some nice size bream and blackfish. There has been a few small jews caught just near the sussex basin entrance and i have been told there was a leagal kingy caught from within the basin as well. ] Since the pros have been kicked out its great. they have said they are going to put some man made reefs in but still waiting

hit the basin with my mate this morning at about 5.30 hoping to pick up a few bream on softys. No bream today but as the sun got up we got the usaul flaties not to be today largest round 450mm picked up a few small tailor a trevally and a nice size fan belly leather jacket. Also got a cockell on the plastic thats a new one for me so by about 8.30 we ended up getting about 15 fish or so but let them all go
