Where is a goodspot to target either snapper ,trevally, flathead that type of thing landbased? Looking to head somewhere this week Also when suggesting a spot may you add how to fish it like line class,hooks, sinker etc Any tips or spots appreciated Cheers boys

Nah i didnt catch them off the back of the house . You know when you head down towards past the boat ramp and you come to two little creeks? I took the left one and down towards the end of it there was a nice drop off which produced a few , but thanks for the advise otherwise i wouldnt have taken the traps! Yeah it was still a good weekend , ashame it rained so much though

Went up to forster for the long weekend , with the weather being windy as anything and rain alllll day long not a bad result on the saturday set the traps and got 4 mud crabs , thought that was pretty good for out of season? 2 being pretty decent size then over sunday landed a few whopper whiting , all over 30-cm biggest going 35cm . later that night landed a few 'just keeper' Bream off the back of the property i was staying with peeled prawns as i couldnt get to the nippers because over 3 days there was no low tide at all ? soo much rain tides werent really going , at least not in the keys . On monday morning went out early and got another 2 good size whitting and flathead , but no pictures of those as they were quick to be realsed . overall a good weekend

deffinately make the trip ! hawksberry has been fishing well lately and always seem to fish better in the bad weather messeage me if you want more information on some hotspots:)

Anyone fished berowa lately ? Anywhere from calabash to the first oyster lease heading towards brooklyn

Anyone been getting decent catches lately in the berowa area ? Crabs still out ? Anywhere to get nippers without going into brooklyn ? Been fishing the area quite often with only ever comming back with 1 maybe 2 keepers , Calabash bay has produced a few legal flathead before And i have got bream n flathead at the first oyster leasse heading to brooklyn but not much else Really keen to do a bit better PM me if you want , can keep spots to myself But any help much appreciated ! hey mate , the parramatta wreck is 300 metres down from the vines if you were going towards bar point its in the corner next to the oyster leases , you cant miss it keegz

hahaha , yeah i normally catch my fish in water even if the bays dont yeild many nipers i think whatever you can get is gooood. because without nipers i dont think you can catch much fish ahah Hard river to fish actually

If anyone knows anyything about what types of bait the little bays just out of the 4 knot zone hold , like poddys ? Small crabs ? Where are the nippers ?! Close to berowa .. Cheers guys hope u can share some info

just wanting some advise on where to fish , Now i can either head down to berowa or appletree bay What area do you think is fishing more succesfully at the moment ? And also what area is the crabbing better at ? Really appreciate the help , cheers raiders

I know theres currently alot of salmon and tailor off the wall Sorry mate but cant help you with kings and jews , ive heard off jews being there but havent seen one caught Id think the bonnies are there , there everywhere at the moment ! Good luck

Hey , what species you targetting ? If your going for tailor salmon and jews go off the end of the breakwall nearest to the ocean and use pilly like you already suggested If nothings happening go across the other opposite side of the wall onto the little beach , get some worms , crap load of whiting to be caught ( flatties also ) Or you can walk to flats flicking plastics and shouldnt fail to get some flatties Lot of land based options Good luck mate , post a report
