G'day all, I'm new to the forum and am newly reunited to fishing. I just thought I'd say hi and introduce myself a little. I was always obsessed with fishing as a kid but didn't have the access to regular bouts on the water and with the introduction to wine and women in my teenage years kind of forgot about it. Until, I went to Darwin to visit a mate mid 2010 where hook-ups with big queenies and barra rekindled my fire for the sport. I have got a couple of mates into it here in Sydney and have managed to fit in a few land based expeditions per week (uni holiday gotta love 'em!!) I have fished Coogee Beach, Gordon's Bay, Yarra Bay and the mouth of the Cooks River with modest success but unlike my mates who seem to enjoy the beer and the company more than the catch I'm on here to pick up a few tips and catch some decent FISH!!!! I spent most of the last few years cruising the bush in my spare time looking for snakes and other reptiles to photograph and am I right to assume that like my other scaly hobby the best spots are "Top Secret"? If not I would love some info on good land based fishin within an hours drive of the Inner West. Cheers, Chris Jolly
